Rastriya Prasaran Grid Company Limited
The development of transmission line system is inevitable to develop the hydropower projects in order to address the energy crisis of Nepal. In this context, Rastriya Prasaran Grid Co Ltd (RPGCL) was established by the Government of Nepal on 12 July 2015 to transmit and evacuate the power for the development and operation of the hydropower sector. The Company's corporate office is located at Kathmandu.

To be world class transmission company ensuring adequate power network with economic transmission access in the country.

Empowering economic development of the country by providing reliable transmission services through the development of robust and efficient power grid.
Objectives
- Construct, expand and modernize the Transmission system to wheel 40 GW power (By the year 2040);
- Construct the full functional Load Dispatch Center;
- Acquire all High Voltage (400kV and 220 kV) Transmission Assets of NEA;
RPGCL will adhere to good corporate governance by promoting strengthening Board and management accountability and helping build public trust in the company.

RPGCL is shall meet or exceed all applicable Environmental Health and Safety regulations and also inculcate voluntary initiatives in its counterparts to which we pledge. PRGCL shall comply with applicable environmental, health and safety law and established policies and procedures to create safe and compliant workplaces, environmentally responsible operations, and culture where healthy lifestyles are encouraged.
RPGCL shall adopt self-sufficient systems that can find solutions to problems quickly in an available system that reduces the workforce and targets sustainable, reliable, safe and quality electricity to all consumers.
